If the Whack-a-Mole game is the first thing you go up to when you go into an arcade, then check out Poke A Mole.
This Android version of the classic game requires you to smack moles on the head with your finger as they pop out of their holes. The objective of Poke A Mole is to hit as many of the critters as you can within 30 seconds. You can get extra points for amassing combos, so try to be as quick as you can.
There are three difficulty levels in Poke A Mole, with the number of holes increasing as the difficulty level goes up. There isn't any variation in the gameplay itself however, meaning that it does get very repetitive.
The graphics in Poke a Mole are cheerful and colorful, but they're not particularly ambitious. As with the gameplay in general, the graphics show a distinct lack of variety, and it would've been great to see some different creatures or even different backgrounds thrown in.
Poke A Mole is a fun version of a fairground classic. Remember to use your fingers and not a hammer, though!
